I started my real estate career with Carlson GMAC Real Estate in Marblehead in 1990. I joined William Raveis Real Estate in their newly opened Marblehead office in February 2007. I achieved membership in the Chairman's Elite Club in 2007 and 2008 which ranks me in the top 5% of realtors in my company. I also finished 6th in sales for single family homes in Marblehead for 2007 and 8th for 2008 for all agents. I ranked 3rd in sales for my office in 2007 and 2008. These achievments reflect a full time professional who is motivated to offer the best in service and also has the time to make you my #1 priority. I am a member of Bay State MLS PIN, the Massachusetts Association of Realtors, the National Association of Realtors, and the North Shore Association of Realtors. I have also achieved the designation of CBR (Certified Buyer Representative)and can offer you buyer representation.
Specialization
I specialize in representing my clients in the purchases and sales of single-family homes, condos and investment properties in the Marblehead/Swampscott/Salem area. I am well informed on availability and value of real estate in these communities. I'm also very knowledgeable about school information, community events, recreational opportunites, and children's athletic opportunities.
Personal
I have lived in Marblehead since 1976. My husband John and I have raised two daughters here in Marblehead. Both girls attended the public schools and participated in a variety of competitive youth sports including soccer, sailing, swimming, gymnastics, and women's ice hockey. I have been actively involved in the public schools through the PTO and various fund-raising events. I have also served on the Board of Directors for Pleon Yacht Club (a junior yacht club).
I personally enjoy playing tennis, skiing, and sailing on our Bristol 35.5 which is moored in Marblehead Harbor. We are members of the Marblehead Yacht Club.
In 1986 we moved as a family to Southern California and then back to Marblehead in 1989. This process of relocating a family from Coast to Coast has given me invaluable insights into the challenges of relocating families.
